William Van Straubenzee

[The day after Leon Brittan died, Cabinet Office papers emerged that incriminated Brittan, Hayman, Peter Morrison and Sir William van Straubenzee.

Straubenzee was a Tory politician who served in Heath's Government. He was a "wet".

The timing of the release strongly confirms an active process of suppression of information about living VIP criminals on the part, if not of the Cabinet office, then at least of an individual with access to the papers.

The papers also relate to Kincora. The full content has not been published, but is with the police.
