Knowl View

Special school for boys with learning and behavioral difficulties in Rochdale Lancs 1969-1995. Cyril Smith MP was a governor. One worker at the school was prosecuted. Greater Manchester police took no action on complaints at the time. Now they are investigating.

Martin Digan, a social worker at the school, compiles a dossier of crimes against the boys at Knowl View. It was sent, not by him, to the office of Gillian Shephard, the Education Secretary, but they sent it back to the Council.
